Prerequisites & Requirements

Before taking this exam, you should have:

Experience designing and implementing machine learning solutions using Google Cloud services such as Vertex AI and BigQuery ML
Proficiency in Python and familiarity with SQL (e.g., Cloud SQL, BigQuery)
Understanding of foundational ML concepts including supervised and unsupervised learning, feature engineering, and evaluation metrics
Ability to preprocess and manage large datasets across multiple storage systems (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Spanner, Cloud SQL)
Experience building, deploying, and scaling ML models using frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and XGBoost
Knowledge of AutoML, Model Garden, and Vertex AI Agent Builder for generative AI applications
Understanding of CI/CD for ML (MLOps) and pipeline orchestration using Vertex AI Pipelines or Kubeflow
Experience with distributed training and accelerator hardware (GPU, TPU)
Knowledge of Responsible AI practices, explainability, fairness, and model monitoring
Ability to troubleshoot ML model performance, bias, and data drift in production environments
