Prerequisites & Requirements

Before taking this exam, you should have:

Hands-on experience designing, deploying, and operating Google Cloud VPC networks at scale
Proficiency with routing (static, dynamic) and Cloud Router/BGP, including path selection and BFD
Experience with hybrid and multi-cloud connectivity (Cloud Interconnect, HA VPN, Cross-Cloud Interconnect) and related SLAs
Ability to design and implement secure GKE networking (private clusters, Dataplane V2, network policies, IP ranges)
Fluency with Google load balancing families, backends (NEGs, MIGs), health checks, URL maps, and traffic management
Working knowledge of Cloud DNS, DNSSEC, routing policies, DNS peering, and split-horizon setups
Competence with Network Connectivity Center topologies (spokes, hub-and-spoke, mesh) and operations
Experience configuring Cloud Armor, Cloud NGFW, hierarchical firewall policies, micro-segmentation, and Secure Web Proxy
Ability to operate Cloud NAT, Private NAT, Private Service Connect, and VPC Service Controls
Skill in observability and troubleshooting using VPC Flow Logs, Packet Mirroring, NIC (Topology, Connectivity Tests), and Cloud Logging/Monitoring
